As a neuroradiologist, Tom van Seeters is involved in imaging of the brain and spinal cord. Finding out exactly what can explain the patient's complaints gives me great satisfaction. As a head and neck radiologist, he is involved in head and neck oncology, but also with other (benign) abnormalities in the ears, salivary glands, nose, and throat. In addition to neuroradiology and head and neck radiology, He also works as a general radiologist in other subfields of radiology. For example, patients may encounter me during an ultrasound examination, and he reviews scans and photos of all parts of the body.

Seeters has been working at the ETZ since November 1, 2020. He was trained as a radiologist in Utrecht and Apeldoorn, after which he did a neuroradiology and head and neck radiology fellowship in Utrecht. For his Ph.D. research, he looked at the added value of making CT scans (CT angiography and CT perfusion) in patients with suspected cerebral infarction. He does his work as a radiologist with great passion. I have an inner drive to deliver good work and I am structured and meticulous. Clear communication with patients is very important to him.
