Tatiana Vidaurre is a medical oncologist and former Institutional Head at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases INEN, Lima, Peru who completed her medical studies at the Human Medicine Faculty of the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University UPCH, Lima, Peru with different specialties in medical oncology and general medicine (INEN, UPCH), health services management (UPCH), health administration (UPCH), and medical audit (USLG and Epidemiological and Clinical Oncology Research–INEN). She has a Masters's degree in molecular oncology from the National Center for Oncology Research (CNIO) in Spain and public health diploma and Master´s degree with a Mention in Health Services Management from UPCH; and Doctorate studies in public health from UPCH, with extensive experience in oncology clinical research with postgraduate training in molecular clinical oncology at the National Cancer Institute (Bethesda, USA). She has developed the National Plan for Comprehensive Cancer Care and the Improvement of Access to Oncological Services in Peru—Plan Esperanza— an important public health policy for cancer control in Peru. She is also the Founder of the INEN Breast Cancer Club, the main Peruvian oncology patients organization for women's cancer control. Currently, she works as a medical oncologist and researcher at INEN and as University Professor at UPCH.
