Vivian Koob MEd, MRC

Vivian Koob founded Elizabeth’s New Life Center with her husband Steve in 1989. Vivian holds a Master of Education degree as well as a Master in Rehabilitative Counseling. Before founding Elizabeth’s New Life Center she taught high school and spent 12 years working for the State of Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. She also spent years as a stay-at-home mom for her large family of natural, adopted and foster children.

The Koobs’ blended family includes 12 living children and 17 grandchildren. Vivian and Steve have been married for 30 years. Vivian’s pro-life convictions led her to get involved with pregnancy resource centers and prayer in front of the abortion clinic on North Main in the early ’80s. Elizabeth’s New Life Center was born out of that concern. She remains a volunteer for pro-life ministry and prayer groups through her church and is also a lector.
