W. Norman Scott, MD, FACS, is a Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall University. He is a Founding and the Senior Director of the Insall Scott Kelly Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He is the Program Director of the ACGME accredited ISK Adult Reconstruction Fellowship which began in 1991. He is affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center.
He has previously served as Chief of Orthopedics at Beth Israel North Hospital (1996-1998) and Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center (1998-2004). He received his undergraduate degree (BS) from the University of Pennsylvania and his MD degree from Cornell University Medical College. His orthopedic training was at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
