Walter Paul Weber MD

Dr. Walter Paul Weber is a professor of Surgery at the University Hospital Basel. He specialist and professor of surgery at the University Hospital Basel and from 2013 to 2017 he headed the Breast Center in the Tumor Center. The highlight of his specialization as a breast surgeon was a year of training with Professor Monica Morrow at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, organized by the American Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO). He treated only patients with breast cancer there for 12 months. At the University Hospital Basel, too, he has been exclusively caring for patients with breast diseases since 2014. Since December 2015 he has been head of the Breast Surgery Department at the Clinic for General and Visceral Surgery as Chief Physician.
