Dr. Huang is a cardiologist and Medical Director of Clinical Transformation and Chair of Finance and Business Development Committee at Providence Heart Institute in Portland, Oregon. She is the Cardiology Medical Director and President of Medical Staff at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. She is a board member for the Portland InterHospital Physicians Association.
Dr. Huang graduated from Yale College and Stanford Medical School. She completed her Internal Medical Residency and Cardiology Fellowship training at Oregon Health & Sciences University. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Management from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Huang’s research focus has been around specialty practice improvement, health policy and economics. She has published on these topics in the New England Journal of Medicine, Circulation, Harvard Business Review, etc. She has given presentations on these topics internationally.
