Yasuyo (Diana) Umene, M.D., graduated with her degree in medicine from the University of California, San Francisco. She also completed a master's degree in health and medical sciences at the same institute. She is residency-trained in internal medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. Originally from California, Dr. Umene moved to Portland for medical training and has since been catering to the locals of Portland, Ore.
Dr. Umene practices at The Portland Clinic and is fluent in Japanese. She is uncompromising in her dedication to the well-being of her patients. She approaches patient care with compassion and positivity and believes in fostering a healthy physician-patient relationship that facilitates assurance and respect.
As an internist, she places a high priority on preventive care, wellness strategies, and health education.
