Zehra Jaffery MD, FACC

Zehra Jaffery MD, FACC is a cardiologist with training and experience in clinical patient care and clinical research. She has a special interest in women`s heart health, peripheral vascular disease, preventive cardiology and congenital heart disease.

Dr. Jaffery received her medical degree at the NTR University of Health Sciences, Gandhi Medical College Hyderabad, India. Dr. Jaffery completed Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, MI. She did a year of chief residency at University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. She then completed her Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute, New Orleans, LA. Dr. Jaffery has won multiple awards throughout her training. She has published many original scientific articles in peer-reviewed, medical and scientific Journals. She also has published various reviews and has been a co-author of book chapters. These publications relate to her research in clinical cardiology with a focus on peripheral vascular disease.
